This is a double page spread from an r'n'b magazine. All the text is aligned to the left wherever it is on the page apart from the text at the top in white ("the queen of UK r&b..."). This makes it look much neater than if it was all on different sides because it shows the magazine has order. There are 3 main colours used throughout which are red, black and white. The composiotion of the colours look classy and luxurious. There are 2 main images of Jamelia, but the one on the right hand side stands out more because its in full coloyr whereas the one on the other side is mostly covered with a black tint. The writing in red next to the picture on the right frames the picture of Jamelia which makes it stand out more rather than covering it to show the article is about her. Jamelia is looking at the camera which makes it looka like she is looking directly at the audience which makes it more personal. Also the fact that she is only partly dressed and in what looks like a bedroom makes it more personal to the audience because its like your getting to know the real her without all the glamour you see on a stage when shes performing. This contrasts to the picture on the right because thats a picture we may be more used to seeing of her maybe at a photoshoot or from a video.
